Team Grumpy entered in the Veteran category once again this year.
Our accommodation was in a rather nice Bed & Breakfast, though in accommodating a vegetarian, it transpired that fish were vegetables!
The weather for the Duo this year was damp and quite windy, which made racing across the marshes 'interesting'.
Gerry insisted on taking apart his headset on the evening before the race (see Team Grumpy Rule #2), and it required Robert's bike-tech skills to put it all back together again.
I don't have many details of this race (this website was set up some years later), but we finished in 2nd place in the Veterans category, with 01:23:11
